What you need to know about a new clubbers paradise: the island of Pag in Croatia
The beaches of the island of Pag are very beautiful, they are mostly pebble beaches, and water of the sea is beautiful blue and very transparent.
The best time to take advantage of Pag and the clubbing atmosphere is from End of May ( Springbreak) to September every year. Most tourists are staying at Novajla, which is located 2km from the beautiful and vibrant beach Zrce. Shuttle buses operate 24h/24h and connecting the city center and the beach, they run regularly so the maximum waiting time is 20 minutes. Taxis, petrol prices in general are really interesting and inexpensive, it is also possible to rent a scooter and bicycles.
The main club is “Papaya” with great artists such as Swedish House Mafia, Armin Van Buuren, Axwell, Tiesto, John Digweed, Eric Prydz, Sven Vath, Crookers etc. There are also clubs such as Kalypso, these major institutions are beach clubs and nightclubs in the evening. There are of course many bars for those who want to rest their little feet and get tanned.
In terms of water sports there are the usual basic, boats, jet skiing, diving, but also a little more original bungee jumping, or cable-surfing (sort of wake boarding but pulled by a cable)
Pag being an island, there are also many small beaches all around looks where you can relax quietly. But there are also other activities, walk in the coniferous forests, art exhibitions, performances, cultural and historical monuments, museums, art galleries, clubs, extreme sports etc.. In short, the list is long!
Most tourists come from Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Germany and Austria, but the reputation of Pag the above and more and more tourists from around the whole world come to enjoy its charms (and its big parties !).
The season starts to rock in early June with Spring Break and the party never stops all summer long. It is the new Ibiza and everything goes here.
